Dhahran Techno Valley (DTV) is proud to announce that Dhahran has been shortlisted as a candidate city to host the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP) World Conference in 2027.
This recognition places Dhahran at the heart of a global conversation about science, technology, and innovation. With over 350 members across 76 countries, including 11 in Saudi Arabia, IASP represents the world’s leading network of science parks and innovation ecosystems.
The decision on the 2027 host will take place during the IASP General Assembly on September 18, 2025, at this year’s World Conference, scheduled during September 16–19 in Beijing, China.
About the IASP World Conference
The IASP World Conference is the annual meeting point for nearly a thousand innovation leaders from every continent. It is a platform that forges partnerships, facilitates knowledge sharing, and inspires new collaborations that transcend borders. Each conference shines a spotlight on a timely theme and provides a stage for cutting-edge research, entrepreneurial success, and strategies that shape the future of innovation.
This year’s conference in Beijing is themed,
“Elevating Excellence – Innovation Spaces Driving High-Quality Development.”
