Commitment
& Expectations

Postdoc startup fellows are expected to manage their time equally between a designated research center and DTV’s venture builder.

Postdoc startup fellows are encouraged to leverage their research expertise in advancing their startups and are also encouraged to collaborate with other KFUPM researchers to support their venture development effort.

Application and Selection Process

Applicants are required to complete an online application form which will be assessed for eligibility and alignment with the program. Eligible candidates will need to submit proof of their academic standing and accomplishments, as well as an investor-style pitch articulating their proposed business or product concept with explaining how the Fellowship will catalyze their commercialization success.

Both DTV and KFUPM will conduct a comprehensive evaluation during this stage to ensure complete alignment with the university’s research, innovation and commercialization goals.
